Operating Authorities
CHTRS has the expertise to manage Operating Authorities process.
In Alberta industrial railways are regulated through the Industrial Railway Regulations which are in turn based on the federal regulations for railways in Canada. As part of these regulations industrial railways are required to have an Operating Authority from Alberta Transportation before they can commence operations.
While Alberta Transportation has tried to make the process very straight forward it can seem daunting for the uninitiated. The CHTRS has the expertise and resources to help any client manage the process smoothly.
